A sofa beside a level driveway and the same sofa upstairs are different jobs. “Curbside” describes where an item starts; it does not automatically establish parking, lifting or disposal requirements. Choose the arrangement that fits your property before moving anything. Peak Elevation reviews the items and access before accepting a pickup.
Compare the starting point, not just the item
Outdoor pickup can simplify the carry when furniture is already at the agreed loading point. An inside carry can be considered when stairs, doorways or a basement are part of the job. Neither arrangement is approved from a location label alone. Describe the full path, including the steps between the front door and the street.
| Pickup arrangement | What to show | What needs review |
|---|---|---|
| Outdoor staging | The item, level loading path and legal parking point. | Distance, item condition and whether staging is authorized. |
| Inside, ground floor | The room, doorway, turns and route to parking. | Lifting, indoor access and any disassembly. |
| Upstairs or basement | Each stair flight, landing, narrow turn and exit. | Extra help, size, weight and a workable carrying route. |
| Apartment or condo | Unit, elevator, loading entrance and building instructions. | Reservations, vendor requirements and allowed loading hours. |
Match the published outdoor offer exactly
The current starter offers apply only at one accessible pickup point in ZIP 80011: $149 for one standard non-reclining sofa up to 8 feet; $129 for one dry twin, full or queen mattress; or $179 for that mattress and its box spring at the same point. The included scope is loading, hauling and ordinary disposal. These are request-only offers, not an active checkout or reserved appointment.
- Legal truck and trailer parking, with a level loading path within 50 feet.
- Items staged outside; no stairs, indoor entry or disassembly.
- The sofa offer excludes sleepers, recliners and sectionals.
- Mattress offers exclude bed frames and adjustable bases. No wet or infested items.
- Other ZIPs, extra pieces, special material or access changes need a photo quote.
Show the whole route in a few photos
Take a wide photo of every included item, closer views of bulky pieces and a short photo sequence from the room or staging point to parking. Include furniture dimensions if known. Count separate sections, mattresses, box springs and frames individually. A close-up of the sofa alone cannot describe a tight stair landing or a long carry.
- State the floor, number of stair flights and any steps outside.
- Show doorways and turns without shifting heavy furniture for the camera.
- Include elevator reservations, loading restrictions and an authorized access contact.
- Explain whether an item is assembled, connected, unusually heavy or damaged.
Choose a plan before staging anything
Do not drag a heavy item downstairs just to qualify for an outdoor offer. Leave it in place and request an inside-access review if that is what the job requires. Do not assume a sidewalk, shared dumpster area or neighbor’s driveway is an approved staging spot. Confirm the agreed location and keep entries and shared walking routes open.
Agree on one complete scope before paying
Peak Elevation reviews the item list, address, lifting and access, then provides the written scope and total. Approve that quote and pay in full through Square; the pickup window is confirmed after payment verification and a final schedule check. If items, access or staging change, contact us before arrival so any revised work and price can be agreed. Clearing furniture for a move-out? Cleaning and exterior work can be requested separately in the property planner.
