College HUNKS or Peak Elevation in Denver?

BEFORE THE TRUCK ARRIVES

How the quote works.

College HUNKS lists junk removal, moving, labor and donation pickup at its Denver location. Its junk pricing page describes truck-space pricing, a free onsite estimate before work and possible item-specific disposal or disassembly charges. The Denver page also offers combined service packages; a moving task and a junk task should be identified separately when you ask for the estimate. For a usable item, ask about acceptance and available donation documentation rather than assuming it will be donated. Peak’s outdoor offers cover removal of the stated item after photo and access review. Furniture rearrangement, transportation to another home and an entire move-out are different requests, not additions to that starter total. See official sources.

PUT THE DETAILS TO WORK

What does your pickup look like?

Keep the dresser; discard the sofa

You are moving out. A dresser must go to the new apartment, while an old sofa is being thrown away. They currently stand next to each other.

Your next step

Mark the destinations clearly and ask College HUNKS to distinguish moving from disposal in its quote. For Peak, submit the discarded sofa as a removal request; the outdoor sofa offer applies only if its item and access limits are met. Do not label the whole room “junk.”

A usable table and a damaged sleeper couch

One piece may suit a charity, but the sleeper couch is heavy, damaged and still inside. You would like donation documentation if the table is accepted.

Your next step

Ask about donation acceptance, any separate transport charge and the couch’s carrying or disassembly needs. Peak’s standard outdoor sofa offer excludes sleeper couches. Request a complete reviewed quote for the damaged couch, and do not count a donation receipt as guaranteed.

TAKE THIS INTO YOUR INQUIRY

Give every piece a destination

A simple labeled inventory helps keep moving, donation and disposal from being mixed into one vague price.

  1. Label each piece KEEP, DONATE IF ACCEPTED or REMOVE; photograph those labels.

  2. For pieces you keep, give the destination address and access at both ends.

  3. For possible donations, disclose condition, damage and missing parts before asking about acceptance.

  4. Identify sleepers, recliners, large tables and anything requiring disassembly.

  5. Ask for the full removal total and separate amounts for other services, with schedule and payment terms.
