DENVER JUNK REMOVAL · A PROCESS COMPARISON
WE JUNK or Peak Elevation in Denver?
Hauling an old appliance is different from disconnecting it or taking out furniture beside it. Describe each piece and ask where the accepted work begins.

BEFORE THE TRUCK ARRIVES
How the quote works.
WE JUNK’s Denver page offers phone and online inquiries, with a location or ZIP step followed by a discussion of the hauling needs and pickup day. It lists household and office cleanouts, furniture and appliances. Its appliance page describes a crew assessing the items before an accepted removal price, with no upfront payment advertised for that service. The Denver FAQ says the final total includes labor and essential hauling and disposal fees. Ask which local operator will perform the visit and confirm the actual access, accepted items and payment terms. Peak’s three outdoor starter offers are furniture and bed-item scopes; an appliance, a connected unit or a mixed cleanout needs a separate written owner-reviewed quote. See official sources.

PUT THE DETAILS TO WORK
What does your pickup look like?
A refrigerator is still connected in the kitchen
The old unit contains food and is connected to a water line. You want it removed when its replacement arrives, but no disconnection arrangements have been made.
Ask the provider whether the unit must be emptied and disconnected beforehand and who is responsible for that work. WE JUNK lists refrigerator and appliance removal; that listing does not itself settle disconnection or access terms. Peak needs an appliance-specific review, separate from the outdoor furniture offers.
A mattress pickup becomes a room cleanout
The mattress is dry and outside, but a dresser, television and bags from the bedroom are added to the request. Some pieces need indoor carrying.
List the added pieces, electronics and room access before requesting a total. WE JUNK lists both furniture and cleanouts, so ask for a combined assessment. Peak’s mattress-only scope covers that mattress alone; the mixed request needs a revised written quote before payment.
TAKE THIS INTO YOUR INQUIRY
Define the handoff for every appliance
A clear preparation agreement matters as much as naming the machine.
Identify the appliance type, approximate dimensions and whether it still works.
Describe electrical, water or gas connections and ask who handles any disconnection.
Remove personal contents only after agreeing on safe preparation requirements.
Show doorways, floors, stairs and loading access; identify any furniture that must also leave.
Confirm the local operator, complete accepted total, payment timing and what a requested date actually reserves.
A LOCAL OPTION WITH DEFINED LIMITS
